You might need to add a nice cardboard box for it to be fully cat approved, but I like it even without the box.

Finally some play space, after 20 years living in an apartment and doing car stuff in friends’ driveways and garages. Now all I need to do is finish the rest of the house and I’ll even h ave time to use it.

I remember when I helped build a shed. I got to write my name in the concrete.
The shed blew over in a windstorm a few years later, and the concrete was removed.

I shall show you where to put my bed, and then you may leave, human.
Great job. I wish I had a shed.

We’re in an extreme wind zone so it had to be rated accordingly. Actually in practice we’re not, because the property is covered in mature trees, but the council don’t care.

I’m gonna build a 40 x 60 shop in April, mind me asking the size and cost of yours?

Nice... we’ve put our plans in for our new shed which should happen in the first quarter next year. Can’t wait to remove the current effort...

24x40. Cost about 60k all up including paperwork, earthworks, electrical, an extra deep slab to take a hoist, and a 25000 liter rainwater tank. However I’m in NZ not US so that’s probably not a useful number.

Why finish the house when you can live in the shop.

Simple economics. Cost of divorce > cost of renovations.
